The Armband of Calm (Japanese: 混乱よけの腕輪) is an Armband introduced in the [[Shiren 1/Version Differences|Super Famicom]] release of Shiren 1. Wearing this armband will prevent [[Shiren 1/Gameplay Elements/Shiren (player character)|Shiren]] from being inflicted with the confused [[Shiren 1/Gameplay Elements/States|state]]. This armband is a solid choice to equip for generally walking around any dungeon just so you can safely ignore the spinning trap. Especially if you lack supportive items to effectively deal with the confused state.

This armband is most effective during any floors where Daze Radish's or Skull Wizards spawn, as this armband protects you from their confusion abilities, and they tend to appear together on the same floors. If you find yourself lacking sufficient food or are in need of some temporary weapons, you can safely farm Confusion Herbs from any Daze Radish with this armband, especially if they do minimal damage to you. The last thing to keep in mind is that equipping the Armband of Calm after already becoming confused will not remove the status from you, so you need to be wearing it in advance.

An Armband of Calm will protect Shiren from all causes of confusion:
*[[Shiren 1/Items/Herbs/Confusion|Herbs of Confusion]]; which includes those thrown by [[Shiren 1/Monsters/Daze Radish|Daze Radishes]] and any that Shiren eats. With this armband on, Herb's of Confusion become a safe food resource.
*The confusion bolts from [[Shiren 1/Monsters/Skull Wizard|Skull Wizards]] and [[Shiren 1/Monsters/Skull Wraith|Skull Wraiths]], as well as a reflected Skull Staff confusion bolt.
*The confusion effect from eating a Rotten Riceball.

The Armband of Calm (Japanese: 混乱よけの腕輪) is an Armband in Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.

Wearing this armband will prevent Shiren from being inflicted with the 'Confused' status.

An Armband of Calm will protect Shiren from all causes of confusion:

The effect of this armband also persists in towns, but not while Shiren is a monster, or inflicted with the 'Riceball' status.

The effect of an Armband of Calm is included in several "rescue reward" armbands: the Alertness Armband, the Clear Armband, and the Warding Armband.

Limitations

Tips For Use
