The Spiked X (Japanese: バトルカウンター改) is a shield introduced in the Nintendo DS port of Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. It bears the (S) (Spiked) Rune which returns 1/4 of the damage taken. It is a rescue reward exclusive item and has an increased upgrading potential over the normal Spiked Ward.
