The Pointless Jar (Japanese: アホくさい壺) is a Jars in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. Items can be inserted into the jar for storage, but with no effect, and cannot be removed unless by breaking the jar or by an Extraction Scroll. Throwing the jar will deal 2 damage like most Items.
Tips for Use
- If an item inserted into a jar, remains unchanged, cannot be removed and does not combine with other inserted items of its type (Weapons, Shields or Staves), and does not gain uses when ascending floors, it may be a Pointless Jar, Gaibara's Jar, or even worse, a Unbreakable Jar or a Venting Jar.
