This Storehouse Jar page is about the Nintendo DS release. For the Super Famicom release, see Shiren 1 SFC:Storehouse Jar.

The Storehouse Jar (Japanese: 倉庫の壺) is a Jar in Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.

Inserting an Item into a Storehouse Jar sends the item Warehouse at Canyon Hamlet, which will consume a jar slot. If there are no empty floor spaces in the warehouse, the item will fall onto the ground near Shiren. The jar itself will always appear empty.

Shops

Items in Shops that have not been paid for, can not be stolen using a Storehouse Jar, will consume a jar slot, and fall to the ground even if the Warehouse in Canyon Hamlet has floor spaces.

Tips For Use

  • Check to see if the Warehouse in Canyon Hamlet has an empty floor space before inserting an item. In the Nintendo DS port of Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer, this can be done by selecting 'quit' and starting a Time Attack challenge.
  • Bring a Storehouse Jar to difficult dungeons, so that if Shiren is going to be defeated, important items can be inserted and sent to Canyon Hamlet and conserved, though this decision cannot be reversed.
  • Caution should be taken when carrying Storehouse Jars in dungeons that contain Gaze Family Monsters, as items can be inserted while Hypnotized.
  • A storehouse Jar can be differentiated from the Bottomless Jar in the Time Attack feature, allowing players to use their Canyon Hamlet Warehouse. If the inserted item is on the floor, it is a Storehouse Jar, otherwise, it is a Bottomless Jar.
