The Scroll of Explosion (Japanese: 自爆の巻物) is a Scroll in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.
The Scroll of Explosion will cause a 3 x 3 explosion centered on Shiren, similar to that of a Big Landmine Trap or Spike Bomb Family explosion. The explosion will instantly defeat all Monsters within the blast radius (except Inferno Family Monsters which will be unharmed and multiply), and will either leave Shiren at 1 HP or at half of current HP with a Shield with a 
Tips For Use
- Before using, consider what will happen to Shiren that is at 1HP, is there other monsters outside the radius, or how quickly will you need to heal up.
- Read this scroll as a very last resort when surrounded by monsters.
Things to Avoid
- Do not read a Scroll of Explosion while under the 'Hungry' status (current Fullness at 0). Shiren will be left at 1 HP by the explosion, but in the same turn, will lose 1 HP due to being hungry and will be defeated.
- Do not read while Inferno Family Monsters are within the radius, they will be unharmed and will multiply.
