The Big Landmine Trap (Japanese: 大型地雷のワナ) is a Trap in Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.

Effect

When a Big Landmine Trap is triggered, the explosion not only effects the entity that triggered the trap, but the explosion also damage those within a 1 tile radius. Within this radius, all Items and walls will be destroyed.

Big Landmine Traps cannot defeat Shiren

They can deal damage equal to half of current HP, equal to a quarter of current, or enough to leave Shiren at 1 HP. Triggering the Trap at 1 HP will deal no damage to Shiren.

Shiren is considered a Trap Master when transformed as a Mecharoid Family Monster.

Damage dealt to Shiren assumes that a Shield without a Fusion Shiren 1 DS - Shield Rune Star.png is equipped.

With a Blast Seal Shield:

Damage leaving Shiren at 1 HP becomes Damage equal to half of current HP.

Damage equal to half of current HP becomes Damage equal to a quarter of current HP.

Number of Uses

A naturally generated Big Landmine Trap can be triggered infinite times, though a trap placed down as a Trap Master will disappear after 6 - 27 uses by Monsters.

When successfully throwing a Big Landmine Trap at an entity, it will be used and disappear.
