The Multiplication Trap (Japanese: 罠増え) is a Trap in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.
Effect
Shiren
No effect to you, but 25 - 30 random traps that correspond to permitted spawns will appear on the floor.
Monsters
No effect to the Monster, but 25 - 30 random traps that correspond to the permitted spawns will appear on the floor.
Number of Uses
A naturally generated or placed Multiplication Trap can only be triggered once before it disappears.
When successfully throwing a Multiplication Trap at an entity, it will be used and disappear.
