The Restorative Herb (Japanese: 弟切草) is a Herb in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.

Eating a Restorative Herb will restore up to 100 HP. Eating one when Shiren's HP is at its maximum will increase maximum HP by 2. Restorative Herbs will also cure some Status Abnormalities:^{[Data needed]}

Successfully throwing a Restorative Herb at a monster will have no unusual effect unless that monster is a Ghost-type monster. Successfully hitting a Ghost-type monster with a Restorative Herb will deal 100 fixed damage, which can instantly defeat most monsters.

Tips For Use

Though 100 damage to Ghost-type Monsters is substantial, thrown items can always miss. Don't depend on throwing this herb.
As Shiren's HP increases, Chiropractic Jars become a more useful and compact healing option. Instead, when finding a Restorative Herb, hold and to heal to full HP, then eat the Herb increase maximum HP.
