The Blastwave Scroll (Japanese: 真空切りの巻物) is a Scroll in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. Reading this scroll will damage all Monsters (red map entities) in your current room. If there are no enemies in the room, nothing will happen. Using a Blastwave Scroll in a hallway will deal damage only to enemies that are within a 3x3 area around Shiren, including monsters inside walls and Invisible monsters.
Using the scroll by itself (without using any Power Up Scrolls), has been shown to deal 21 - 37 damage to enemies, regardless of their individual defense.
Tips For Use
- Can easily weaken all enemies in a Monster House, reading Power Up Scrolls prior can further increase damage.
- A Blastwave Scroll will deal 21 - 37 damage, instantly defeating any level of the Dead Soldier Family, which otherwise only take 1 damage from most attacks.
Things to Avoid
- Reading a Blastwave Scroll in a Shop will damage the Shopkeeper (because they are red entities on the map) who will be provoked and can easily kill Shiren.
