The Dragon Herb (Japanese: ドラゴン草) is a herb introduced in the Super Famicom release of Shiren 1. Consuming it will cause Shiren to breathe fire in the direction he is facing. This fire will extend infinitely until it hits a target or a wall. The fire will do up to 75 points of damage to the first target in its path with some small variance. Throwing and hitting a monster with a Dragon Herb will have a similarly damaging effect on the target, but will do up to 50 points of damage with some small variance instead. Using a Dragon Herb against an Inferno will level it up.
The Dragon Herb ドラゴン草 is a herb in Shiren1DSTitle. Eating it will cause Shiren to breathe fire in the direction he is facing. This fire will travel infinitely in a straight line until it hits an entity or a wall, and cannot miss it's target.

Tips for use
The fire will deal 68 - 75 damage regardless of defense to the Monster it hits. Throwing the herb will deal 55 - 58 damage to the target it hits, though may miss.
*The damage that a Dragon Herb does is enough to kill many monsters. The fire effect from a dragon herb can not miss as well, so they make for a very good emergency kill item.

*This herb combo's well with a Pitcher's Armband, and when thrown in this fashion will not level up Inferno enemies.
Tips For Use
* The damage from a Dragon Herb can instantly defeat many monsters, and if eaten, its flames will not miss.
* Equipping a Pitcher's Armband and throwing a Dragon Herb through a straight line of monsters will have a chance to deal ~50 damage to each one.
* When thrown with a Pitcher's Armband Equipped, a Dragon Herb will deal damage to an Inferno Family. If thrown without this Armband, the herb will burn up, and if hit by the flames, the monster would level up.

This Dragon Herb page is about the Nintendo DS release. For the Super Famicom release, see Shiren 1 SFC:Dragon Herb.
For the lore page, see Shiren:Dragon Herb.

The Dragon Herb (Japanese: ドラゴン草) is a herb in Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. Eating it will cause Shiren to breathe fire in the direction he is facing. This fire will travel infinitely in a straight line until it hits an entity or a wall, and cannot miss it's target.

The fire will deal 68 - 75 damage regardless of defense to the Monster it hits. Throwing the herb will deal 55 - 58 damage to the target it hits, though may miss.

Tips For Use

 • The damage from a Dragon Herb can instantly defeat many monsters, and if eaten, its flames will not miss.
 • Equipping a Pitcher's Armband and throwing a Dragon Herb through a straight line of monsters will have a chance to deal ~50 damage to each one.
 • When thrown with a Pitcher's Armband Equipped, a Dragon Herb will deal damage to an Inferno Family. If thrown without this Armband, the herb will burn up, and if hit by the flames, the monster would level up.

Things to Avoid

 • If an Inferno Family Monster is hit with fire from an eating a Dragon Herb, it will increase in level by 1.
