The Identity Armband (Japanese: 識別の腕輪) is an Armband in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. This rare and extremely useful armband is exclusive to the Final Puzzle floors 21 - 99.
While wearing this armband, any Item picked up into Shiren's inventory will be identified. Unidentified Items with obscure yellow names will change to their actual names in white.
The effect of an Identity Armband is included in one "rescue reward" armband: the Merchant Armband.
Tips For Use
- Being the only armband at such a high price, players can be sure they've found an Identity Armband in, or using Shops.
- Items held in the inventory can still be unidentified with the Identity Armband equipped. Place them on the floor and pick them up to identify them.
- This armband completely negates the gimmick of the Final Puzzle as there will be no risk of using any unidentified items.
- Temporarily pick up items in Shops to identify them, then replace the item on the floor.
- Only equip this armband when finding unidentified items, and equip another type for dungeon exploration and combat.
