Monster Tome (Japanese: モンスター図鑑) is a Key Item in 
Etrian Mystery Dungeon. This item allows the player to see the list of monsters defeated by the player or registered after using Analyze. It can be accessed in the menu "Reference" > "Monster Tome" and in Stein Labs. When using the Monster Tome, the bottom screen shows the list of monsters organized with tabs for DOE, Bosses and normal monsters. It is possible to see a description of each monster, its weaknesses or resistances to Attributes, the name of its skills, its drops and the first dungeon the player saw in. In addition, when accessed from Stein Labs, the top screen displays the 3D model of the selected monster.
When the player accesses the Monster Tome in Stein Labs when it is 10% complete, the player is rewarded with a Yggdrasil Leaf. When the player looks at the Monster Tome when it is 50% complete, they receive one Book for each stat. When the Monster Tome is complete, the player is rewarded with the Lion Crest and the Award.
