Buckler (Japanese: バックラー) is a Shield in 
Etrian Mystery Dungeon. It has 1 Defense. This is the first Shield that can be bought in the game.
Locations
Buckler can be bought at Chano Retail for 30 Ental.
Every new Protectors that are registered in the Explorers Guild receives a Buckler.
Buckler can be found in Mysterious Labyrinth (first visit), Emerald Copse and Emerald Copse (extended).
Buckler is given to Landsknechts, Protectors and Wanderers when entering Phantom Depths and Mysterious Forest.
Buckler is given to Landsknechts, Protectors and Wanderers as default equipment in Basic Forts.
Forging
Buckler can not be Forged.
Melding
When another Shield is Melded with Buckler, the cost is 300 Ental for each enchantment added.
