Etrian 1:Staves
Staves (Japanese: 杖) in Etrian Mystery Dungeon are items that can be equipped in the weapon slot by all classes. It's the only weapon that can be equipped by Runemasters.
They increase attack, can have additional effects and some of them can be forged to add effect like stats increase or additional effect when hitting a monster. Normal attacks with Staves inflict Bash Damage. To be forged, each Staves requires a different amount of materials. In addition, Staves can be enchanted to a maximum of +99, each enchantment increasing attack by 1.
Staves can be bought at Chano Retail, at Red Lion Shoppe or found in dungeons. In order to be bought in Chano Retail, each Staff requires you to have sold different materials to Chano Retail. In addition to the materials, the Market District must be developed in order to unlock some Staves. In the store at Chano Retail, Staves are sorted depending on the attack.
A Staff must be equipped to use some Medic's skills.
