Etrian Mystery Dungeon. It has 6 Defense, increases Paralysis resistance and can be Forged 3 times to add additional effects.
Locations
Kite Shield can be bought at Chano Retail for 230 Ental after selling 1 Sky Iron Shell and 1 Jet-black Pith.
Kite Shield can be found in Pristine Stream, Haunted Woods, Animal Trail, Phantom Depths, Pristine Stream (extended) and Haunted Woods (extended).
Kite Shield is given to Protectors in Search Forts and Attack Forts, to Landsknechts in Fire Forts, Ice Forts and Volt Forts and to Wanderers in Storage Forts as default equipment.
Forging
Up to 3 additional effects can be added by Forging. Forging requires to having sold 1 Chalcedony, 1 Luminous Moss and 1 Jet-black Pith, each time.
Melding
When another Shield is Melded with Kite Shield, the cost is 300 Ental for each enchantment added.
