Etrian 1:Wandering Box

Wandering Boxes (Japanese: さまよう宝箱) are chests found in dungeons in  Etrian Mystery Dungeon. They appear in dungeon rooms as with other items or are dropped by some DOEs, but they disappear after 1 to 10 Turns from the moment a Party Member enters the Room, with the time left for the wandering box written on it. When a character walks on top of it, the party gets a random Item, usually a piece of equipment. In most dungeons, equipment can only be found in Wandering Boxes.

In-game description

A treasure chest containing a rare item. Due to the mystery dungeon's influence, it travels from place to place.
