Etrian 1:Rapiers
Rapiers (Japanese: 突剣) in Etrian Mystery Dungeon are items that can be equipped in the weapon slot by Landsknechts, Dancers, Ninjas, Sovereigns and Wanderers, except for the Dagger which can be used by all classes.
They increase attack, can have additional effects and some of them can be forged to add effect like stats increase or additional effect when hitting a monster. Normal attacks with Rapiers inflict Stab Damage. To be forged, each Rapiers requires a different amount of materials. In addition, Rapiers can be enchanted to a maximum of +99, each enchantment increasing attack by 1.
Rapiers can be bought at Chano Retail, at Red Lion Shoppe or found in dungeons. In order to be bought in Chano Retail, each Rapier requires you to have sold different materials to Chano Retail. In addition to the materials, the Market District must be developed in order to unlock some Rapiers. In the store at Chano Retail, Rapiers are sorted depending on the attack.
A Rapier must be equipped to use some Rapiers's skills.
