Etrian 1:Weapon

Weapons (Japanese: 武器) in Etrian Mystery Dungeon are equipment that can be equipped in the weapon slot. There are 6 type of weapons, Swords, Katanas, Maces, Staves, Rapiers and Guns. Each weapon can be equipped by different classes.

Weapons increase attack, can have additional effects and some of them can be forged to add effect like stats increase or additional effect when hitting a monster. To be forged, a weapon requires materials that depend that is different for each weapon. In addition, weapon can be enchanted to a maximum of +99, each enchantment increasing attack by 1. Normal attacks with weapons inflict Cut, Stab or Bash Damage depending on the weapon type. It is required to have a weapon equipped to use some skills.

Weapons can be bought at Chano Retail, at Red Lion Shoppe or found in dungeons. In order to be bought in Chano Retail, each weapon requires you to have sold different materials to Chano Retail. In addition to the materials, the Market District must be developed in order to unlock some weapons.
