Etrian 1:Weapon

Weapons (Japanese: 武器) in Etrian Mystery Dungeon are Equipment that can be equipped in the weapon slot. There are 6 type of weapons, Swords, Katanas, Maces, Staves, Rapiers and Guns. Each weapon can be equipped by different classes.

Weapons increase Attack, and can have additional effects. Some weapon can be forged to add effect such as stat increases or additional effects when hitting a monster. To be forged, a weapon requires materials that differ for each weapon. In addition, weapons can be Enchanted to a maximum of +99, each enchantment increasing attack by 1. Normal attacks with weapons inflict Cut, Stab or Bash Damage depending on the weapon type. It is required to have a weapon equipped to use some Skills.

Weapons can be purchased at Chano Retail, at Red Lion Shoppe or found in Dungeons. In order to be bought in Chano Retail, each weapon requires you to have sold different materials. In addition to the materials, the Market District must be developed in order to unlock some weapons.
