Weapons (Japanese: 武器) in Etrian Mystery Dungeon are Equipment that can be equipped in the weapon slot. There are 6 type of weapons, Swords, Katanas, Maces, Staves, Rapiers and Guns. Each weapon can be equipped by different classes.
Weapons increase {{Etrian1|Attack}, and can have additional effects. Some weapon scan be forged to add effect such as stat increases or additional effects when hitting a monster. To be forged, a weapon requires materials that differ for each weapon. In addition, weapons can be Enchanted to a maximum of +99, each enchantment increasing attack by 1. Normal attacks with weapons inflict Cut, Stab or Bash Damage depending on the weapon type. It is required to have a weapon equipped to use some Skills.
