Books (Japanese: 宝典) in Etrian Mystery Dungeon are items that can be used to permanently increase a stat of the character who used it.
They are all given by Sarah Stein for completing 50% of the Monster Tome, and for completing 50% of the Item Almanac. They can also be found in treasures rooms at the bottom of Mysterious Forest and at the bottom the extended version of the first 6 dungeons if you have a Key to open the door.
