Riolu (Japanese: リオル) is a character in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. He made his debut in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon - Go! Expedition Society Juniors! in 2015.
He is an incarnation of the 
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon hero.

History
Riolu is a human turned Pokémon who woke up in the Pokémon World, presumably without any memories. Froakie was the only Pokémon who believed his story at first, which lead to them becoming friends. Riolu wants to help Froakie in his dream, and discover the mystery behind it all. He feels something weird is going on in the Pokémon world while he bonds with Archen.
