Unofficial Content is typically outside of the scope of the MDFW, with few exceptions:
- Unofficial names where official names do not exist. These should be marked with the
Notice Symbol. - Unofficial English translations of names that do not have matching official English equivalents. These should be marked with the
Notice Symbol.
Additionally, the following exceptions apply to Community pages:
- Material that is meant to help make the franchise more accessible, such as unofficial translation patches, may be covered.
- Editors who have reached MDFW Legend status can choose to cover unofficial content for the purposes of documenting the history and culture surrounding the franchise. This can include community history and events, cheat codes, and more.
