Pages on the MDFW generally fall into 3 different formatting types; about pages, List pages, and Landing pages.

About

About pages, as the name implies, are a page about a particular subject, intended to educate readers on said subject.

About pages should be named in a similar format, to avoid search-bar clutter, such as "Shiren 1 DS:Monster" and "Shiren 1 DS:Monsters" both appearing, with both ultimately linking to the same page.

List

List pages are lists of various things, usually from video games, but not limited to such subjects.

List pages tend to be lists of traps, status conditions, monsters, weapons, characters, and so on.

List pages were split away from about pages for 2 primary reasons.

The first was to prevent deceptive pages, such as "Shiren 1 DS:Monsters", which was a list of monsters in the game and didn't educate readers on what they were, how they functioned, and so on.
The second reason was to avoid users having to unnecessarily load up a bunch of large, image-heavy tables when they simply wish to learn about a mechanic, and don't need to see a list of every instance of said mechanic in the series.

Landing

Landing pages were created primarily to be link-hubs, and to display the beautiful artwork readers might not otherwise know exists.

Landing pages are used for things like character pages, gameplay elements pages, and wiki home pages, such as Wii Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 3 - The Sleeping Princess and the Karakuri Mansion.
