Moonlight Village GB:Fay's Puzzle 042

Fay's Puzzle #042 is one of the 50 puzzles unlocked initially in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer GB - Monster of Moonlight Village.

Solution

Get the Herb and eat it. Then pick up the Staff of Paralysis. Lure one Gather onto the nearby trap and paralyze it there. Then rinse and repeat by manipulating the movement of the Gathers (they simply track you.) Move below the Traps and then paralyze the Gathers once they are on top of those. Grab the Switching Staff at some point and use it on the fourth Gather safely to easily walk to the Stairs. You can throw the Staff of Paralysis at the fourth Gather if you feel you need to create more distance before switching with it.
