Shiren:Fay's Puzzles
Fay's Puzzles (Japanese: フェイの問題) are a gameplay element in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. They made their debut appearance in 
Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer in 1995.
Fay's Puzzles are created by Fay the Researcher and function as a way to teach players about the basics of gameplay, how to think creatively, as well as what to expect in a Dungeon environment.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island featured a new addition, Dojo Challenge, which is reminiscent of Fay's Puzzles, with puzzles focusing on individual monsters. Much like Peach Buns are to Monster Meat, or Handy Dash is to iDash, it appears to be a way of rebranding an old mechanic the developers wished to include without including it directly.
