Get the nearby Staff then walk around the pillar with the Gather to get the other Staff. After doing so, position the Gather so that you are above it and can use the Knockback Staff downward on the Gather to get it across the water. Then switch with it and pick up the Herb. Toss the Poison Herb at the Gather and then switch with it again. Lastly, take about two steps to the right and then pass turns until the Gather lines up with you, head back left, and stop when you can align yourself diagonally to both walls below you. Knock back the Gather at this diagonal angle to get it into the further area, and then use the switching staff on it immediately to reach the far area with the Stairs.
