Once reunited, Asua, Shiren, and Koppa make their way into the Karakuri Mansion in search of fabled treasure and Princess Kaguya. Along the way, they're simultaneously betrayed by Sensei, reunited, and after a handful of betrayals and a possession along the way, the trio defeats Ikazuchikami and Izanami.

After the Karakuri Mansion crumbles and the squad exist with their loot, everyone but Koppa, the trio hangs around Otsutsuki Village, and helps a few people out. When word gets out about a tournament for ownership of the Hourai Mountain Hot Springs, the trio investigates.

They discover is was a ploy by the resurrected Curas, Tainted Insect, and Ragoon, who managed to escape Yomi during the events of the Karakuri Mansion. The slain foes wanted revenge against Shiren and Asuka for killing them and so Asuka was captured by the resurrected tio, and was subsequently rescued by Shiren.

The squad is contacted by a woman named Ichi-Bunny, and her Chintala with bunny ears, but totally not Chintala companions; Usakichi, Usaji, and Usataro. They demanded help collecting Moon Stones to repair the damage done to the moon by the Ikazuchikami during the events of the Karakuri Mansion.

Princess Suzune and the Tower of Slumber
