Personality

History

Shiren 6

One morning, Shinzo notices someone who collapsed in dungeon and washed up on Shukuba Beach. Worried, he calls for help; Shiren and Koppa notice the call and bring the man to the inn, where he eats Suzuna's food and explains that he is Kawasaku, an archeologist searching for the Golden Highway to fulfill the final wish of a friend who recently died. His friend, a descendant of the ancient Noma Pirates, left him with a scrap of paper and a crystal.

Shiren and Koppa explore Serpentcoil Island to slowly find more hints and piece together the mystery, and eventually find the entrance to the Golden Highway in Icewall Village. Kawasaku asks to be escorted there because he is unable to reach it on his own, due to being too weak to defeat the monsters in the dungeon.

Upon arriving, he refuses to explore the Golden Highway, saying that he is satisfied in knowing that it exists. Shiren and Koppa explore the Golden Highway on their own, retrieving some of the treasure the Noma pirates hid on the island.
