" I'm not a skunk! I am a weasel.

Koppa (Japanese: コッパ) is a character in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. He made his debut in Super Famicom Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer in 1995.

Koppa is referred to as both a weasel and a ferret. He is also referred to as a white weasel (Japanese: 白いイタチ) in Japanese. In the games, Koppa is often mistakenly referred to as another species by many characters, which gets Koppa to react and correct them.

He is from a line of domesticated talking weasels. His talking brethren have become increasingly rare as the years pass by. He's a major side character in the Shiren the Wanderer series, often found traveling with Shiren the Wanderer, though in some instances, he travels with Shiren's childhood friend Asuka as well.[1]
