Shiren:Koppa
Template:Character Bio Infobox
Koppa (Japanese: コッパ) is a character in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. He made his debut in Template:GameTitle in 1995.
Koppa comes from a line of domesticated talking weasels that have become increasingly more rare over the years. He usually travels with Shiren the Wanderer, doing most of the talking for him, and usually sleeping in his bag while they go on adventures.
Biography
Physical Appearance
Koppa is a small animal with a white body and a brown tail.
Species
" | I'm not a skunk! I am a weasel. | „ |
Throughout the series he is referred to as both a weasel and a ferret. He is also referred to in Japanese as a white weasel (Japanese: 白いイタチ). Characters occasionally confuse Koppa's species for another, such as a skunk, causing Koppa to react and correct them.
Personality
History
Koppa was Shiren's childhood friend and travel partner. At some point in Shiren's childhood or teenage years, Shiren and Koppa split up, and Koppa temporarily traveled with Asuka.[1] Shiren and Koppa eventually met again years later, six months before Template:GameTitle. For unexplained reasons, Koppa has no memory of anything before those six months. In Template:GameTitle, Asuka is surprised and disappointed that Koppa does not remember her. It is not specified whether Shiren remembers or not.
