This Fay's Puzzles page is about the Nintendo DS Release. For the Super Famicom Release, see Shiren 1 SFC:Fay's Puzzles.
For the lore page, see Shiren:Fay's Puzzles.

Fay's Puzzles (Japanese: フェイの問題) are tutorial puzzles in Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. They help the player understand gameplay aspects and strategies of the game. A puzzle is entered by talking to Fay the Researcher in Canyon Hamlet.

Upon starting a puzzle, Shiren will be reduced to level 1, be given starting stats, and lose any items and/or Gitan on hand. The levels and items aren't retained outside of the puzzles, but Fay will give a random item reward for success. Nothing that happens in Fay's Puzzles will register in the Adventure Log, and scrolls read will not count towards Blank Scroll entries.
