Etrian 2:Staff

Staves (Japanese: 杖) in  Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 are items that can be equipped in the weapon slot by all classes. It's the only weapon that can be equipped by Runemasters and Alchemists.

They increase attack, can have additional effects and some of them can be forged to add effect like stats increase or additional effect when hitting a monster. Normal attacks with Staves inflict Bash Damage. To be forged, each Staves requires a different amount of materials. In addition, Swords can be enchanted to increase their attack by 1 for each enchantment.

Staves can be bought at Garaku Studio, at Bewitching Dungeon Shop or found in dungeons. In order to be bought in Garaku Studio, each Staff requires you to have sold different materials to Garaku Studio. In the store at Garaku Studio, Staves are sorted depending on the attack.

A Staff must be equipped to use some Medic's skills.
