Etrian 2:Weapon

Weapons (Japanese: 武器) in  Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 are Equipment that can be equipped in the weapon slot. There are 7 type of weapons, Swords, Katanas, Maces, Staves, Rapiers, Guns and Gauntlets. Each weapon can be equipped by different classes. Some Skills allow to equip another weapon instead of a Shield, and some weapons can never be equipped with a shield. Each weapon has a model, which can be seen when equipped by a character in a Dungeon or by reading the Item Almanac in Hot-Spring Komorebi.

Weapons increase Attack, and can have additional effects. Some weapon can be forged to add effect such as stat increases or additional effects when hitting a monster. To be forged, a weapon requires materials that differ for each weapon. In addition, weapons can be Enchanted to increase their attack by 1 for each enchantment. Normal attacks with weapons inflict Cut, Stab or Bash Damage depending on the weapon type. It is required to have a weapon equipped to use some skills.

Weapons can be purchased at Garaku Studio, at Bewitching Dungeon Shop or found in dungeons. In order to be bought in Garaku Studio, each weapon requires you to have sold different materials.
