Etrian 2:Sword
Swords (Japanese: 剣) in 
Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2
are items that can be equipped in the weapon slot by Landsknechts, Protectors, Dancers, Sovereigns, Wanderers and Farmers, except for the Knife which can be used by all classes.
They increase attack, can have additional effects and some of them can be forged to add effect like stats increase or additional effect when hitting a monster. Normal attacks with Swords inflict Cut Damage. To be forged, each Swords requires a different amount of materials. In addition, Swords can be enchanted to increase their attack by 1 for each enchantment.
Swords can be bought at Garaku Studio, at Bewitching Dungeon Shop
or found in dungeons. In order to be bought in Garaku Studio, each Sword requires you to have sold different materials to Garaku Studio. In the store at Garaku Studio, Swords are sorted depending on the attack.
A Sword must be equipped to use some Landsknecht's skills.
