Etrian 2:Class

Classes (Japanese: 職業) are part of the Etrian Odyssey series since the first game. In  Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2, there are a total of 15 classes. Along with all ten older classes returning from  Etrian Mystery Dungeon, four classes from the mainline series, and a new class titled "Kenkaku Class" were added to the game.

About

There are a total of 15 classes, in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2, each of which has different skills, stat growth, and equipment options. Whenever a character levels up, they gain a Skill Point that they can allocate on their class-specific skill tree, allowing a large variety of play styles. The player can freely create and customize the names, classes, and appearances of each party member they create, and Characters of the various classes are sometimes found wandering dungeons, who can be recruited.

	Landsknecht Class	ソードマン	近接攻撃型	剣と盾で戦う物理アタッカーの代表格。 近接攻撃が得意で攻守のバランスが とても良い。新人冒険者 あるいは どれにしようか迷う人にお薦めしたい。
	Protector Class	パラディン	防衛特化型	鉄壁の守りが特徴。敵の注意を引きつけ 仲間達の盾になり それがパーティの 生存の安定をもたらす。守備のことを 考えるとパラディンは欠かせない。
	Gunner Class	ガンナー	遠距離攻撃型	遠くから銃で狙うスナイパー。 後方からの援護射撃はとても頼もしいが 接近戦には注意。ガンナーがいるだけで 攻撃に厚みが出るのでお薦めしたい。
	Runemaster Class	ルーンマスター	属性攻撃型	防御力は低いが攻撃力はトップクラス。 遠くからでも放たれるルーンを触媒に した属性印術は破壊力抜群。攻撃要員と してぜひパーティにいてほしい職業だ。
	Medic Class	メディック	回復特化型	回復専門職。しかも回復だけではない。 戦うスキルも持っているし防御力も 高い。傷ついた仲間のために一人は 入れておきたい。
	Dancer Class	ダンサー	攻撃兼支援型	踊ることで仲間を鼓舞する踊り子。 味方が踊りの届く範囲内にいれば 強化したり回復したりできる。 稀に見せる倍速行動も頼もしい限りだ。
	Hexer Class	カースメーカー	弱体特化型	禁断の呪言を操る術師。状態異常を 辺りにまき散らし弱体化させれば 多くの敵がいても とても楽に戦える。 典型的な後方支援タイプである。
	Ninja Class	シノビ	特殊攻撃型	忍びの者。優れた体術で敵陣に飛び込み 一気に殲滅する能力を持つ。ただし撃ち 漏らすとひとり敵に囲まれることに なるのでそこは注意したい。
	Sovereign Class	プリンス / プリンセス	支援特化型	王家の血が味方を鼓舞し 仲間に様々な ステータス上昇効果を与える味方強化 専門職。リーダーとしての自信と風格が 仲間達に勇気を与えるのだ。
	Wanderer Class	フーライ	特殊攻撃型	様々な伝説を求めてさすらう。不思議の ダンジョン探索のエキスパートであり それに特化したスキルを持つ。前線の 攻撃要員に悩む人にお薦めである。

	Pirate Class	パイレーツ	遠近両用攻撃型	突剣と銃で戦う海賊。近くの敵は 切り刻み 遠くの敵は撃ち倒す万能型。 低防御力を度胸で切り抜けるのも海に 命運を任せてきた歴戦の猛者ゆえか。
	Alchemist Class	アルケミスト	属性攻撃型	術式を駆使して戦う属性アタッカー。 クセはあるが 当たれば抜群の破壊力が あり その威力はルーンマスター以上 とも言われている。
	Monk Class	モンク	攻撃兼回復型	気功の達人。カウンター攻撃や敵を 状態異常にする拳術と回復の業を得意と する。ただしメディックより回復範囲は 狭い。
	Farmer Class	ファーマー	冒険支援型	冒険支援型職業。農民であり戦闘向き ではないが アイテムの収集が得意で あり また独創的なスキルと種を 駆使して仲間を支援する。
	Kenkaku Class	ケンカク	近接攻撃特化型	剣に生きる侍戦士。一刀でも二刀から でも繰り出す攻撃は敵からも恐れられて いる。ただし防御力は低いので注意が 必要。攻撃だけを追求してきた者達だ。

Trivia

• Much like the Wanderer Class referencing Wanderers from the Shiren the Wanderer series, in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2, the new Kenkaku Class references two other characters from the series, those being Asuka for the female character, and Sensei for the male character. Their clothes were inspired by the two's appearances in Shiren the Wanderer 3: The Sleeping Princess and the Karakuri Mansion.
