Dialogue

The partner's dialogue changes depending on the selected gender and, occasionally, Pokémon species.

Red and Blue Rescue Team

In Red and Blue Rescue Team there are multiple sets of dialogue. [Data needed]

Explorers Titles

In Explorers, there are three sets of dialogue. They are most easily identified by how they refer to themselves in the Japanese version, boku (male), watashi (female), or oira.

In Sky, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pikachu, Cyndaquil, Phanpy, Treecko, Mudkip, Turtwig, Piplup, Shinx and Riolu use boku.

Squirtle, Meowth, Totodile, Chimchar and Munchlax use oira.

Female partners use watashi.

Gates to Infinity

In the Japanese version, the partner has either a male set of dialogue (boku) or a female one (watashi). In the North American and European versions the choice was removed, so only the male version of the dialogue is accessible. Some languages have unused, partially translated female lines.

Super MD

In the Japanese version, the partner has either a male set of dialogue (boku) or a female one (watashi). In the European version the choice was removed, so only the female version of the dialogue is accessible. In the North American version [Data needed]

Rescue Team DX

In Rescue Team DX there are multiple sets of dialogue. [Data needed]
