Far-off Sea (Japanese: さいはての うみ, Farthest-off Sea) is an optional post-credits dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team. It is unlocked by purchasing the Serene Sea Friend Area.
In order to enter the dungeon, either the Dive HM must be in the player's inventory or the corresponding move must be known by a party member, and a Water-type Pokémon must be on the team.
Dungeon information
In order to access this dungeon, the Dive HM and a Water-type Pokémon are needed. Two unique TMs reside here, being the Wide Slash TM on floor 50 and the Vacuum-Cut TM on floor 72. Multiple Deepseatooth can be found scattered from floors 56 to 75, regardless of whether the player has one or not in their toolbox or inventory. The leader cannot be switched during this time. In Pokémon Blue (and red if acquired the Wonder Mail Code), Lapras is exclusive to this dungeon only.
There are no weather conditions that seemingly occur throughout any given floor, and shops cannot be found either. However, Monster Houses are set to appear after Floor 14, and buried items may be found at any given floor. During and after Floor 14 the dungeon is shrouded in darkness.

Part of this page's history has been imported from the PMD Rescue Team Wiki. On September 11, 2019, the Gamepedia Shiren the Wanderer Wiki became the Gamepedia Mystery Dungeon Wiki. As part of the unification project between Fandom and Gamepedia, we absorbed the Rescue Team Wiki and its page histories. Some pages were originally deemed unworthy of being imported and were left behind. We've since imported them with the intent to preserve the edits and history of this community and its contributions, as well as to build upon them. In some cases, these pages have been created again by editors of the MDFW, and the Rescue Team page histories were imported into them at a later date. You can check if this is the case by visiting the page's history.
For a full list of imported pages, see: Pages with histories imported from the PMD Rescue Team Wiki. |
