Rescue Team:Monster House
Monster Houses (Japanese: モンスターハウス, Monster House) are rooms littered with items, traps, and as the name implies, monsters in
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team.
Monster Houses first begin to appear in Uproar Forest, however, they can be spawned earlier, should the player embark on a Rescue, as rescues of other players are guaranteed to spawn a monster house, with the Rescue Spot being in the same room as the Monster House.
One-room Monster Houses
The post-credits dungeon Silver Trench has four One-room Monster Houses, which is a dungeon floor with no walls, and the entire floor is a monster house. They're guaranteed to occur on floors 15, 35, 55, and 75. The special event-only dungeon Fantasy Strait contains a set one-room monster house on floor 15.
A special exception is made when the game fails to generate a proper floor layout 10 times in a row. As early as Mt. Steel floor 4, the game may generate a one-room monster house as a failsafe.[1]
