Beware of Pitfalls (Japanese: おとしあなに ごようじん！) is a PKMN News issue the Hero and Partner will receive in 
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team.

- As a result of the natural disasters, there have been many reports of Pitfall Traps appearing in dungeons.
- However, there also appear to be pitfalls made by Pokémon that are not harmful. The latter are thought to be made by foraging Swinub. Some even turn out to be hot springs that erupt occasionally.

- Infolge der Naturkatastrophen gibt es zahlreiche Berichte über neu aufgetauchte Gruben-Fallen in den Dungeons. Es scheint jedoch auch Gruben zu geben, die von Pokémon gemacht wurden und harmlos sind. Dafür werden vor allem Quiekel auf Futtersuche verantwortlich gemacht. Mitunter werden daraus sogar Geysire.
