The Torch Scroll (Japanese: レミーラの巻物) is a Scroll in 
Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon
. This Item appears in all dungeons and is common. Reading it will lit up the entire floor, revealing the entire map layout, giving full visibility in hallways and revealing Trap tiles permanently.
Tips For Use
- Torch Scrolls should be used right after entering a new floor to optimize their effects. With the map layout revealed, players can plan their way through the floors in the most efficient way possible. Torch Scroll can also reveal large Monster Houses early because of their characteristic size and shape on the map, allowing players to plan in advance or avoid them entirely. The Torch Scroll effects synergize with the effects of the Clairvoyant Scroll to allow players to clear floor even quicker.
- Revealing trap tiles is a nice upside that becomes more relevant in lower floors. Keeping a Torch Scroll for Monster Houses can be useful as it makes their traversal much faster and safer, especially for the larger ones.
- Getting full visibility in hallways is very powerful as it allows player to plan encounter in advance and use range attacks such as Arrows or Staves before monsters can even reach Torneko. Players can also avoid encounters entirely with strategic movement, as monsters vision is limited to a 1 tile range in hallways. This is especially useful in the half maze of the 40th floor and the full maze of floors 50, 60, 70 80, 90 and 99.
