The Poison Herb (Japanese: 毒草) is a herb in 
Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon
. This item is exclusive to the More Magic Dungeon where it is common. Consuming it will lower Torneko's Strength by 3 and his HP by 5. It will also heal the Confused and Misled status. Throwing it will deal 0 - 1 damage to monsters. Like all Herbs and Seeds, consuming it will refill Torneko's Belly by 5%.
Tips For Use
- Poison herbs are one of several negative items exclusive to the More Magic Dungeon. Because all items are unidentified, the player is likely to fall at least once to its effect.
- Using an identify scroll on a herb is rarely worth it. Instead hold onto an Antidote Herb until you consume your first Poison Herbs to revert the effect. Other Poison Herbs will be identified from that point on.
- Poison herb healing Confused and Misled status is a niche use, and is rarely worth it considering the drawback. Otherwise Poison Herbs serve no purpose besides being fodders for Bread Scrolls.
