The Ghost Radish (Japanese: おばけ大根) Monster Family in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer consists of:

1. Ghost Radish (Japanese: おばけ大根)
2. Daze Radish (Japanese: めまわし大根)
3. Sleep Radish (Japanese: ねむり大根)
4. Fear Radish (Japanese: みだれ大根)

Special Drops

Ghost radishes have a chance to drop a Poison Herb upon defeat. Daze Radishes have a chance to drop a Herb of Confusion upon defeat. Sleep Radishes have a chance to drop a Sleeping Herb upon defeat. Fear Radishes have a chance to drop a Kigny Seed upon defeat.This item will not be dropped if the monster has previously had Gitan or an Item stolen from them by a Thief-type monster^{[Citation needed]}.

Monster Ability

The Ghost Radish family monsters attack normally and can throw Herbs at the player.

• The level 1 member of this family, the Ghost Radish, can throw Poison Herbs in a straight line toward the player.
• The level 2 member of this family, the Daze Radish, can throw Herbs of Confusion at the player from a distance. For this, the player does not need to be in a straight line from the Daze Radish. When Shiren is confused, they can throw Poison Herbs.
• The level 3 member of this family, the Sleep Radish, can throw Sleeping Herbs at the player from a distance. For this, the player does not need to be in a straight line from the Sleep Radish. When Shiren is asleep, they can throw Poison Herbs.
• The level 4 member of this family, the Fear Radish, can throw Kigny Seeds at the player from a distance. For this, the player does not need to be in a straight line from the Fear Radish. When Shiren is berserk, they can throw Poison Herbs.

Combat Strategy

The Antidote Herb deals 50 damage if successfully thrown at a member of the Ghost Radish Family, defeating the level 1 and level 2 members of this family.

1. Ghost Radish meat: Eat this to change into a Ghost Radish. You will be able to throw Poison Herbs.
2. Daze Radish meat: Eat this to change into a Daze Radish. You will be able to throw Herbs of Confusion.
3. Sleep Radish meat: Eat this to change into a Sleep Radish. You will be able to throw Sleeping Herbs.
4. Fear Radish meat: Eat this to change into a Fear Radish. You will be able to throw Kigny Seeds.
