Draft:Shiren 1 DS:Shop-based-type
Shop-based-type (Japanese: ???) is a type of monster in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. The Shop Based-type consists of the following monsters:
Hostility
While normally not hostile, when stealing from a shop, the Shopkeeper will begin attacking Shiren. Shopkeepers have a very high attack as well as move at double speed and have a double attack, adding to their danger.
If the player exits the shop after defeating a Shopkeeper, pausing them, etc. they'll be confronted by Guard Dogs and Sheriffs. Just like with the Guard Dogs have double speed and double attack, though aren't as strong as Sheriffs. Nor do they have as much HP as Shopkeepers and Sheriffs.
If the player exits the shop without paying in a dungeon, Guard Dogs and Sheriffs will replace the floor's monsters and they'll begin to hunt Shiren down in an attempt to defeat him.

Reading a Monster Scroll in a shop will create a Shop Based-type Monster House, summoning Guard Dogs and Sheriffs to the room.
