Helper Pokémon (Japanese: ???) are tempory ally Pokémon sent to another player's game in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. They do not leave the original player's team and will only remain as helpers for the duration of the adventure or floor they're sent on. They were first introduced in 
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team in 2005.
