In Despair Dungeon: Monokuma's Test (Japanese: 絶望のダンジョン モノクマの試練, Dungeon of Despair: Monokuma's Trial), a Monokuma Gather appears as a common monster. It is a fusion between a Gather and Monokuma.[1]

The Gather (Japanese: ギャザー) Monster Family is a recurring group of four monsters in the Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer in 1995, making it one of the Original Monster Families.
The Gather Family consists of:
- Gather (Japanese: ギャザー, Gyazā)
- Killer Gather (Japanese: キラーギャザー, Kirā Gyazā)
- Hell Gather (Japanese: ヘルギャザー, Heru Gyazā)
- Fallen Gather (Japanese: フォールギャザー, Fōru gyazā)
Related additional families include the Evil Gyaza monster family that first appeared in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 4 - The Eye of God and the Devil's Navel in 2010, and two cameo appearances in the Danganronpa series, the first in 2017, under the name Monokuma Gather.
