The Gather (Japanese: ギャザー) Monster Family is a recurring group of four monsters in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in Super Famicom Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer in 1995, making it one of the Original Monster Families. Its most recent appearance was in iOS/Android Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate (SP) in 2022.

The Gather Family consists of:

  1. Gather (Japanese: ギャザー, Gyazā)
  2. Killer Gather (Japanese: キラーギャザー, Kirā Gyazā)
  3. Hell Gather (Japanese: ヘルギャザー, Heru Gyazā)
  4. Fallen Gather (Japanese: フォールギャザー, Fōru gyazā)

Related additional families include the Evil Gyaza monster family that first appeared in Nintendo DS Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 4 - The Eye of God and the Devil's Navel in 2010, and two cameo appearances in the Danganronpa series, the first in 2017, under the name Monokuma Gather.

In Despair Dungeon: Monokuma's Test (Japanese: 絶望のダンジョン モノクマの試練, Dungeon of Despair: Monokuma's Trial), a Monokuma Gather appears as a common monster. It is a fusion between a Gather and Monokuma.[1]

In Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp (Japanese: ハッピーダンガンロンパＳ 超高校級の南国サイコロ合宿), Monokuma Gather's appear in Despair Dungeon: Monokuma's Test, they are a fusion between a Gather and Monokuma.
