Torneko 1:Warp Herb

The Warp Herb (Japanese: ルーラ草) is a herb in Template:GameTitle. They appear in all dungeons and are relatively common. Consuming it will warp Torneko to a random tile in the dungeon. Throwing it will warp a monster to a random tile in the dungeon. Like all Herbs and Seeds, consuming it will refill Torneko's Belly by 5%.

Tips For Use

• The two main uses of a Warp Herb are getting out of an unfavorable situation or getting rid of a monster you can't deal with, at least temporarily.
• Warping a monster away can be useful but is generally an unefficient use of the item, as it's likely you will encounter the monster again. Moreover, throwing an herb can miss while consuming it can't. Prefer using Warp Herb when you have to deal with a multitude a monsters at once, where single threat elimination items such as Blaze Herbs don't cut it, and you don't have access to Bang Scrolls. That said warping yourself away does not get rid of the threats and can potentially get you in an even worse predicament.
• Using a Warp Herb in a single room Monster House after luring all the monsters towards you and rushing for the stairs can save you, though it is unreliable.
• Overall Warp Herbs are unreliable and leave your survival up to chance. If your inventory is full, don't hesitate to replace them with more valuable items.
