Walkthrough
Floor 1
- Defeat the Chintala Family in front, pick up the Pitfall Trap in the same room.
- Move right and into the lower right room, where there is a Scroll of Chains.
- In the lower left room there is a Jar of Holding[3] and a Staff of Paralysis[4], use this to defeat the Monster House in the room above. Become level 3 before entering the Monster House.
- Enter the Monster House from the right side entrance without the Trap Armband equipped
- Walk one square into the room. Otherwise Landmine Trap would otherwise be triggered and destroy the Scroll of Explosion.
- There is a large gap between the Monster House entrance and most of the traps and monsters. Move out of the room and defeat all the monsters the exit, they are all weak and should all be defeated in one hit. Re-equip the Trap Armband and collect the Monster House items. Pick up a Hunger Trap to aid the Monster House on floor 4.
Floor 2
Nothing in particular, but a Jar of Change[4] in the starting room and a Trap Armband in the middle lowest room, accessed by moving down and left.
Floor 3
- Enter the Monster House in the most top left room from the right, place a Pitfall Trap, Hunger Trap or Rotten Trap where you stand, and walk back into the hallway. Even being unlucky and having the traps disappear after one use, should be sufficient to clear the room, as there are also Spring Trap inside. There is a Trap Armband, a Scroll of Explosion, and a cursed Super Trap Scroll inside. Take a Spring Trap, which may be useful for floor 5F (randomly generated).
Floor 4
- Defeat both Field Bandit Family before one transforms the Super Trap Scroll at the top of the starting room. Use the Staff of Paralysis found on floor 1. There is another Super Trap Scroll in the room directly to the left. There is nothing else of note, the shield in the lower left room is a wood shield.
Floor 5
- Place down and trigger the Spring Trap, as the room below has frequently contained an Ironhead Family and a Firepuff Family in trials of this password. The middle left room may be the Monster House in this case.
- The Big Landmine Trap in this room will destroy items, though these appear to just be jars, they will weaken the monsters, so lead them out and use the Rotten Trap, to defeat some, or the last two uses of the Staff of Paralysis.
