Rank (Japanese: ランク, Rank) is intended to represent the status and reputation of a Team in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. The rank is tied to a point system, where points are obtained by completing missions. Gameplay-wise, it acts as a method of tracking the player's progress. Increasing the rank may result in visible changes to the design of the Team Badge. It made its first appearance in Game Boy Advance/Nintendo DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team in 2005.
